Essay #1
Being honest, I am unable to write the essay due to not reading the works assigned over the summer.
Despite not reading them, I am confident that I can handle this class and I am determined to keep up to date with future assignments.
Although you did not read the books, I am very inpressed that you told the truth! A lot of students would never have the guts to tell a teacher they didn't read the material, so cheers to you! I have no doubt in my mind that you wont learn from this and only better yourself so it wont happen again! Good job, Henry!
